cruching the numbers

13.2 is FINALLY here.

10 AMRAP:
5 Shoulder to OH (75)
10 Dead lifts (75)
15 Box Jumps (20")

I watched Julie F.'s, Annie T's, and Lindsey V's videos and took splits on all their rounds. I listed the splits below. Here's what I think...


  • jump/drop off the box (do NOT step down)
  • do NOT 'no rep' the box jumps
  • do NOT drop the bar between S to OH and DL
  • quick transitions - no rest!
  • sprint! - no rest! (I said this twice so I remember!!!) 
  • keep a quick pace on the DLs (it's only 75#!)


Why Annie won: she NEVER dropped the bar, she only had a few no reps on her box jumps, she kept a consistent pace on her box jumps

CrossFit should for sure hire me as an analyst.

I'm going to get after this WOD tomorrow evening at RNCF with some bomb people.


I should do well in this if I remember to SPRINT SPRINT SPRINT!

Game Plan: 

  • Push the first two rounds hard (sub :45)
  • Settle into consistent pace ( :53 - :55) 
  • Sprint in the last two minutes (:50 - :53) 
  • Do NOT drop the bar until absolutely necessary (can rest on box jumps)
  • 12 complete rounds (360) 


I can NOT let myself rest. I don't need it! My endurance is great right now.
