Buried Treasure & Regional Thoughts

Wednesday Rest Day.

Study in the morning. Beach in the afternoon.






2013 REGIONALS 



Event 1: Jackie

I've done Jackie twice before, so this isn't a new workout for me. BUT, this Jackie is 10# heavier. I don't know how much this will change up things. I will have to work on making my row a lot more efficient. 

Event 2: OH Squat

I'm planning to start at 155. I hit a 3RM at 155 yesterday. I'll have to keep messing with these.

Event 3: Burpee MU

I've done burpee MUs before, but I have to work on keeping the pace quick. 

Event 4: 100s Chipper

This look very painful. I'm pretty comfortable with all these movements. But, the 50# DB snatch will get heavy quick. 

Event 5: DL/Box Jump

This is the scariest WOD for me. I hate deadlifting. But, I haven't tested it in awhile, so I think I'm underestimating myself. It makes me feel a little better that I'm good at box jumps

Event 6: Chipper

I'm looking forward to this workout the most! Hopefully my HSPUs will help me get a good time on this WOD. I've never worked with an axle before. I don't even know if I'll be able to work with one before Regionals. 

Event 7: Rope/Sprint/Cleans

I feel a lot more comfortable with rope climbs, but I'll have to keep doing these. But, I feel really comfortable with 135# squat cleans. It's awesome that there are no cuts. So, I will be guaranteed to do each WOD. (As long as I meet minimum requirements, which shouldn't be a problem.)
